Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("ToS") govern the use of the Rebuild application (hereinafter "the Application"), published by Paolo ("we", "Rebuild"), a private individual based in Belgium.

By downloading or using the Application, you agree to be bound by these ToS. If you do not agree, please do not use the Application.

2. General Rules

The Application is a motivation and self-improvement tool: it helps you track the habits you want to beat, rewards resisted urges with virtual bricks and lets you build virtual constructions.

Bricks, builds and any other in-app rewards are virtual items with no monetary value. They cannot be sold, exchanged or refunded.

3. Account, Subscriptions & Premium

Some features require an account, created via Sign in with Apple (iOS) or Sign in with Google (Android), depending on your device. You are responsible for keeping access to the Apple ID or Google Account you use; we never ask for a password, as authentication is entirely handled by Apple or Google. You can permanently delete your account and the associated cloud data at any time via "Delete account" in the app settings.

The Application offers an optional paid subscription ("Rebuild Plus") that unlocks additional features (unlimited tracked addictions, all build models and all color themes). It is offered as an auto-renewing annual subscription. A limited-time launch offer is available at €19.99/year (instead of the standard €39.99/year) and may include a 7-day free trial. Prices may vary by country and are shown in the Application before purchase.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited once you purchase a subscription. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the period. You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renew, in your App Store or Google Play account settings at any time. All purchases are processed by Apple via the App Store or by Google via Google Play, in accordance with their respective terms; refund requests are handled by Apple or Google.

4. Age Requirement

The Application is intended for users aged 13 and over. If you are between 13 and 16 (or the age of digital consent in your country under the GDPR), the authorization of your parent or legal guardian is required.

Users under 13 are not permitted to use the Application. If we discover that a user under 13 is using the Application, we will take the necessary steps to delete their information.

5. Use of the Application

You agree to use the Application only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these ToS. You must not: • attempt to disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the Application; • use the Application in a way that infringes the rights of third parties; • resell or commercially exploit the Application or its content without authorisation.

6. Medical Disclaimer

Rebuild is a motivation tool, not a medical device or treatment. The Application does not provide medical, psychological or therapeutic advice, and is not a substitute for professional diagnosis, treatment or support.

If you are struggling with a serious addiction or your health is at risk, please consult a doctor or a qualified healthcare professional. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.

7. Copyright & Intellectual Property

All elements of the Application (code, texts, visuals, logo, virtual builds) are protected by intellectual property law and remain the property of the publisher, unless otherwise stated.

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Application for private purposes. Any reproduction or distribution without prior authorisation is prohibited.

Rebuild is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the LEGO Group.

8. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for: • the accuracy of the information you provide; • keeping your device and your Apple ID or Google Account secure; • the way you use the Application and the decisions you make based on it.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Application is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Application will be error-free, uninterrupted or that it will produce any particular result — including overcoming an addiction.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Application. In any event, our total liability shall be limited to the amount you paid for the Application in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Applicable Laws & Jurisdiction

For users located in the European Union and Switzerland: These ToS are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or execution shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the canton of your domicile or Rebuild's registered office.

For users located outside the EU and Switzerland: These ToS are governed by Swiss law, without regard to its conflict of law rules.

Pursuant to Regulation (EU) No 524/2013, the European Commission provides an online dispute resolution (ODR) platform accessible at: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

11. Changes to the ToS

We reserve the right to modify these ToS at any time. Changes will be published in the Application and on this site, and will take effect immediately.

Your continued use of the Application after the publication of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised ToS.

12. General Clauses

If any provision of these ToS is held to be invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
